A Wounded Pride by local playwright James Oliver is a murder mystery with a twist, taking place at The Perranwell Centre, April 10-11th. This isn’t just any play—it’s a Twystery, a unique theatrical concept that combines drama, mystery, and interactive fun.

A Wounded Pride is set in the grand mansion of Lord Albert Fulbourn during an elegant evening ball. When an unexpected guest is murdered, it falls to Lord Peter Montague to unravel the truth in a tale of intrigue and suspense.

Blood Brothers follows the intertwined lives of twin brothers, Mickey and Edward, who are separated at birth and raised in contrasting environments. Mickey grows up in a working-class family with his mother, Mrs. Johnstone, while Edward is raised by the wealthy Lyons family after Mrs. Johnstone is persuaded to give him up. The play explores how their different upbringings impact their lives, leading to tragedy in their adulthood.
